Snowy’s Outdoor Visit & Grand Re-opening - October 2003

Club visit
On Friday 24th October Greg and Ryan from Snowy’s Outdoor visited our monthly meeting. They brought along with them a large range of camping equipment & clothing. Their talk on the gear they had with them was both interesting & informative.

They gave the club 3 folding chairs one for their most interesting question, which was won by Les and one for our monthly raffle, which was won by Gareth and one to be in the Christmas raffle.

Snowy’s Grand Re-opening
On Thursday 13th November 2003 after a major refit including installing a mezzanine area Snowy’s had a Grand Re-opening.

It was a busy night with plenty of card holders including 3 Wanderers on hand to sample the bargains. I purchased a Coleman’s 2 burner dual fuel stove. This is to use in the times when it’s too cold for gas to come out of my LPG bottles and I’m hungry.

Fred, Rob and JC represented our club on the night.
