OziExplorer the Wanderers Way

Attendees: Perry, Tony, Fred, Paul C, Bob, Graeme, Sharon, Kym & John.

On Saturday 9th July, 9 of us met at Fred’s place of work to have an informative day about OziExplorer from John. It was a mixture of novices, middle of the range experience and more experienced users of Laptops & GPS.

We began at 10.15 after waiting for Paul C to find a car park. Then Fred gave us the grand tour, so we knew where to find the fire extinguishers, exits and most important, where were the toilets!! The presentation was combination of a PowerPoint display along with plenty of commentary from the host.

Morning Tea cake was provided by Fred to go with our coffee before heading back to class. Back to the grindstone, and we had more information provided to us to give us plenty of knowledge of how to use 'OziExplorer' on our laptops.

After lunch we finished off the presentation and then it was time to do some practical work with our laptops and GPS's.

Thank you very much to John for all his time that went into this presentation and for passing on his knowledge, giving us some more understanding of the capabilities of this excellent program. PS Big Thanks to Kym for feeding the hungry wolves.
