The great West Lakes voyage was due to way anchor at 1330hrs on the "Princess" cruise ship and where was Jane & JC? They were running down the gang plank and jumping on board at the last moment that’s where they were.

What’s new you say as you raise your eyebrows, not a thing we were all on board for the start of an interesting afternoons outing.

We were off, getting an on going description of who lived where as we cruised around Delfin Island. Most of the homes had boat moorings adjacent them but there was 2 small yachts and quite a few kayaks but no luxury cruisers or motor boats as this lovely lake is land locked with no way to sail out to sea.

Along with our medication and Devonshire tea we had a great time. Jill dropped a scone in her lap, Katrina showed us her broken foot & Paul F behaved himself (he must be getting old). Lyn announced that this was the type of 4WD trip she really enjoyed. We marvelled at how fast the dragon boats were. The Ninja didn't hit anyone, just lucky we thought.

As with all our trips it was over to soon for before we knew it we were back on dry land.

After the cruise some of us went across to the Henley Square and visited one of our sponsors the Coffee Club for some more refreshments.

Thanks for your company to one and all with special bouquets to Shazza and Sonya for organising the outing.
