On Sunday 18th Oct. we hosted our inaugural 4WD Swap Meet at Virgara's Winery Angle Vale. The day was perfect - sunny and mild. We set up under the massive shady trees on a vast green lawn. Most stall holders sold items and some buyers got great bargains. One person bought a Warn winch for $80.00, some got almost brand new 4WD tyres for one third of the price. Others bought fridges, a TV, a dual - battery system, magazines etc. Lots of things were on offer, both 4WD stuff and camping equipment. Some of us wandered over to the Winery and bought wine bargains too! Geoff bought some brake rotors from Ben and promptly put them on our table for three times the price that he paid Ben (just for a stir). It was a great day for relaxing and socialising in a gorgeous setting and as a spin off we raised $81.50 for the Royal Flying Doc. Service from $5.00 stall holders fees and donations.
