Cottage Pie


Ingredients:

500 grams minced beef
1 onion, chopped
Packet cottage pie flavouring
1 cup water
1 can peeled tomatoes
250 grams frozen mixed vegetables or 1 can mixed vegetables
4 large potatoes or 2 cups dried mashed potato
Grated cheese for topping

Prepare potatoes for boiling and put on to boil.
In pan inside camp oven, fry mince and onion until brown.
Add packet of flavour as well as water and bring to boil.
Add tomatoes and continue to simmer until tomatoes have broken down.
Add vegetables and simmer until vegetables are soft.
Mash potatoes or prepare dried potato as per packet.
Top pan in camp oven with mashed potato and sprinkle grated cheese over.
Cook until cheese toping is melted and starting to brown.

Serves 4
